The location was indeed favorable with an outdoor play park suitable for children. there was also soft play and mini golf available on-site. I noticed many families enjoying these facilities. the pool was clean and maintained a nice temperature. The changing areas were also kept warm and clean. I found this very practical. the grounds was very lovely.
The beds were rather awful and squeaky. Even slight movements caused noise. the mattresses felt quite uncomfortable, and both my husband and i experienced sore backs. This detracted from our overall experience.

The breakfast provided was genuinely excellent. I have several allergies, and the staff showed considerable care in informing me of what was suitable. all utensils were kept separate. This greatly reduced any risk of cross-contamination. I found this helpful.

The 4-person family room is lovely with 2 separate rooms. tea and coffee facilities are supplied, a welcome touch. there was plenty of storage in the family room, very useful for a longer stay. i loved the pool facilities and i used the gym. It was well equipped for a hotel gym.
the location is a little out of the main township so you need to drive to restaurants though this didn't really bother me.
